Keep the 2% rule. Under 25 lbs: show the result as a Muttball count (1 Muttball ≈ 1 oz, round up to whole Muttballs, split AM/PM). 25 lbs and up: loaves as today.

The rule

Feed 2% of body weight per day when feeding exclusively. Split it in half — ½ in the morning, ½ at night.

Reference: a 50 lb dog needs 1 lb of food per day — that's ¼ loaf AM and ¼ loaf PM.

Here's the plan

Your dog needs about

Per day

1.00 lbs

≈ 16.0 oz of fresh food

Morning

8.0 oz

≈ ¼ loaf

Evening

8.0 oz

≈ ¼ loaf

Per week

3.5 loaves

Loaf @ 2 lb each

Slice each loaf into quarters and you've got ready-to-serve portions. Adjust up or down 10% over two weeks based on body condition — you should feel ribs easily under a thin fat layer.
